The 8-layer version has twice as many muslin layers, making it fuller, softer, and warmer. At the same time, muslin remains comfortably breathable thanks to its loose weave.
We recommend 170 × 220 cm as a throw for a sofa or armchair, or as an extra layer. 260 × 280 cm works well as a generous bedspread for beds about 140 to 180 cm wide.

Natural cotton fibres tend to relax with use and washing, so the fabric gradually becomes more supple and pleasant to the touch while retaining its characteristic texture and appearance.
For duvet covers, use the dimensions of your duvet, not your mattress. For muslin blankets, bedspreads and throws, measure the width of your bed and allow for the desired drop on both sides. Example: a 180 cm-wide blanket on a 160 cm-wide bed will drop about 10 cm on each side. For a sofa, measure the area you want to cover and choose whether you prefer the blanket loosely draped or covering more of the seat and armrests.
